Seeking Middle School Educators
Media Power Youth is seeking middle school educators who are passionate about social-emotional learning and media literacy to provide feedback on a new project-based learning module, Digital EQ and Mental Health. Media Power Youth is a nonprofit whose mission is to inspire youth to engage with media in thoughtful and constructive ways that support well-being. We are striving to launch this new resource this fall to support teachers and students as they return to school and navigate new challenges around communication, managing emotions, and technology habits. This unique curriculum was developed in partnership with high school student leaders through a Youth Design Team initiative. Selected educators will need to complete their review by July 15th through an online feedback form and will receive a $75 Amazon gift card as an honorarium. They will also receive a free digital copy of all final curriculum materials for use in their classroom. To be considered for this opportunity, interested educators are asked to fill out a short questionnaire: https://forms.gle/LYti5dBwZmSLCfjT9. In Case You Missed It...
The University System of New Hampshire institutions recently conducted a virtual conversation with staff members from each campus (Granite State College, Keene State College, Plymouth State University and University of NH) to learn how our experts in transitions, community living and academic support services are preparing for the arrival of your students for Fall 2021.
